Vermiculite, used as an insulation material, found in a loft space in south Cheam, Surrey. These ‘granules’ are likely to have been extracted close to asbestos mines and – therefore – might be contaminated with a controlled substance. JFCS recommended its removal from the property (a relatively low cost item).
